As public sector organisations continue their cloud journey, the focus is shifting from simple cloud adoption to architectural optimisation, cost governance, and operational resilience. In Government Cloud Environments, these objectives must be achieved while complying with stringent security, performance, and governance standards. CCTS Global was engaged to support a large public-sector organisation in reviewing the cloud architecture of a mission-critical application hosted on Microsoft Azure, and to develop a comprehensive Azure Cloud Services Playbook. The objective was twofold: Assess the existing architecture against best practices, and Provide a clear, actionable guide for future Azure service subscriptions that balances performance, scalability, security, and cost optimisation.
